I like california i go up to the forest with burnouts from grateful dead tours and rednecks. Its pretty nice in California and it is home to the largest Redwood forest in the world which i live about 2 hours from with bad traffic

At least there's alot to do in Houston. I like going to the Galleria and ice skating. It takes your mind of the heat.
